Frequently Asked Questions
How much do you charge? I charge $40 per hour for private tutoring sessions at my home in Wake Forest or at your home (for an additional fee).
When are you available? I am available for tutoring sessions in the mornings, afternoons or early evenings Monday through Friday. I am available to provide tutoring services during your child’s track-out dates. Alternative days and times will be considered if necessary.
Where do you provide tutoring services? I tutor in my home in Wake Forest. I am also available to come to your home for tutoring sessions for an additional fee.
What are your qualifications? I hold a current North Carolina Teaching License for grades K-5. I graduated with highest honors in Elementary Education from the University of Southern Mississippi. My teaching experience includes 7 years of teaching experience in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade in the Wake County Public School System. I also taught 3rd grade for 1 year in an international school.
What services do you provide? I am available to tutor elementary students in grades K-5th grade specifically targeting the areas of reading, writing, and math. I provide assistance with homework, End of Grade test preparation for 3-5 grade students, and remediation for reading, writing, and math. I will also provide tutoring during your child’s track-out dates to keep your child up-to-date on specific skills learned in the classroom.
